Amizetta Vineyards was established in 1979 when Spencer and Amizetta Clark moved from Texas to their Northern California Napa Valley location and began growing Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes for Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards were planted in the early 1980s on terrain making for arduous grape growing with limited Cabernet Sauvignon grape yields. Combined with intensive hillside water stress conditions and vast southern exposure, these vineyards have historically brought forth spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
